FAQWHAT’S A TYPICAL SESSION LIKE?
A session typically lasts about one hour. I have a few places that I usually like to use for sessions, but I’m always open to suggestions or ideas! When it comes to children, I like to follow their lead & see what they want to do. We’ll try to laugh & play & just have a good time. One exception to the outdoor rule…Newborns! These sessions take place in baby’s home (unless it’s a warm day & parents request outdoor portraits). These sessions can last anywhere from one to three hours. We will go at baby’s pace so that there is plenty of time for baby's needs. Your newborn session will be my only session that day, so you don't have to stress about time. Indoor sessions take place in your home where the most natural lighting is (windows, doors, etc.) Please note it is best to take photos of newborns when they are two weeks old or less. Because it is difficult to know exactly when baby will come, I am super flexible and will work my schedule around your baby! WHAT TO BRING TO A SESSION? I have a very simple style and don’t use a lot of props. However, I do think it’s pretty awesome to incorporate some of your likes, passions, and hobbies into your session! WHEN CAN I SEE MY IMAGES? I am just as excited to share your images, as you are to see them! After your session, I like to post a sneak peak on Alexis Burton Photography’s Facebook page (usually within 48 hours). Within two to three weeks, I will email you with a link to your password protected gallery. If you have any other questions, feel free to send me an e-mail! I look forward to hearing from you! |
